The Managing Director of Saccap Coyard Icarus Nigeria Ltd, Prince Kelvin Ekelechukwu Umejuru, over the weekend bagged a prestigious international humanitarian award in recognition of his numerous contributions towards impacting lives around him, and his selfless service to humanity.
The award tagged “The Golden Heart Award” was presented to him in his office in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, by a Lagos based media giant, Smart News Network(SNN), in conjunction with Ingenius Africa, Ghana.
Speaking at the event, the CEO/Publisher of SNN, Mr. Austin Edoho, described Prince Kelvin as a kindhearted and compassionate leader, whose humanitarian and philantropic gestures have made life easier for many, both in Idu Ogba, and Rivers state as a whole.
In response, Prince Kelvin thanked the organizers for considering him worthy of such an exalted award. He stated that he never knew the world was watching him. According to him, giving is his nature, and he wasn’t doing it to be recognized or given an award. He concluded by saying that since he has been given this award, his resolve to continue helping people has been strengthened, and he will go all the way inorder to justify the award he has received.
Among the dignitaries present at the ceremony was the elder brother to Prince Kelvin, the King of Idu Ogba Kingdom, Eze(AMB) Anayo Uche Umejuru, who himself received an Outstanding Leadership Award.
